But he did not win one of the at-large slots for MCDCC. Among with the 11 candidates, Kunes came in ninth with the top eight gaining a seat. Natalia Farrar, a non-slate candidate, came in fifth and will join the new MCDCC.<\/p>\n<p>In District 16, <strong>Almina Khorikawala<\/strong> currently lags 200 votes behind Loretta Jean Garcia. Almina had been tipped to be the new chair of MCDCC.
