Neil Parrot (R-2B, Washington) is attacking the <em>Fairness for All Marylanders Act<\/em>, the transgender equality bill, for <a href=\"http:\/\/us2.campaign-archive1.com\/?u=fac7efbc0801875f99034b204&amp;id=66760d99e2\">taking away your right to use the bathroom in privacy<\/a>. Seriously:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Good afternoon. This is Delegate Neil Parrott with an important update.\u00a0 Just about an hour ago, the Maryland House of Delegates HGO Committee voted Maryland&#8217;s &#8220;Bathroom Bill&#8221; out of committee. Now only one vote stands between\u00a0your right, and the rights of children, to privacy in bathrooms all over the state.\u00a0 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>In\u00a0just a few short days this bill will take away those rights.<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>And, of course, he has to drag the kids into it because he&#8217;s doing it all for the children.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Qh2sWSVRrmo\" height=\"315\" width=\"420\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The only violation of children occurring here is the hijacking of their interests, particularly egregious in this case as Parrott has completely falsified the bill&#8217;s impact. He&#8217;s certainly not acting in the interests of transgender kids.<\/p>\n<p>Parrot is being <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DavidCraig2014\">aided by Republican gubernatorial candidate David Craig<\/a>, who has decided to get political mileage out of the issue, via twitter. It&#8217;s not encouraging when an aspiring political leader goes after a small minority on his climb to power.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Del.
