As the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/elections\/2020\/10\/02\/trump-biden-live-updates\/\">Washington Post explains<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>QAnon, which\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/technology\/2020\/10\/01\/facebook-qanon-conspiracies-trump\/?itid=lk_inline_manual_57\" target=\"_blank\">took root<\/a>\u00a0on anonymous message boards in 2017, holds that Trump is battling a cabal of deep-state saboteurs who worship Satan and traffic children for sex.<\/p><p>The baseless worldview has been\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.justsecurity.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/420379775-fbi-conspiracy-theories-domestic-extremism.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">identified by the FBI<\/a>\u00a0as among the extremist views \u201cvery likely\u201d to motivate violence. Its adherents, according to law enforcement, have been arrested in numerous incidents, including two murders, a kidnapping, vandalism of a church and a heavily armed standoff near the Hoover Dam.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Harris didn&#8217;t vote no, but instead chose to vote &#8220;present.&#8221; This makes him different but no less absolutely bonkers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>U.S. Rep.
